Day 1
In our RDS Fundamentals and Performance Course, we delve into the nuanced art of mastering red dot sight (RDS) technology to enhance firearm proficiency. Day 1 initiates with an introduction, followed by a safety briefing. Students are then guided through the process of zeroing their red dots, crucial for precise aiming. We explore the intricate mechanics of body posture and recoil management, emphasizing dot tracking techniques to predict and control movement. Diverse styles of draws, including the innovative "Wave" Grip, are scrutinized, alongside an in-depth analysis of Fitts Law principles, optimizing target acquisition. Day 1 culminates with practical drills like the 3 & 2 Drill, reinforcing red dot performance in close-quarter distances.
Day 2
Building upon foundational skills, Day 2 of our RDS Pistol class delves deeper into refining marksmanship proficiency. A specialized focus on trigger control unlocks precision, dissecting the nuanced "walls" of trigger manipulation. We introduce three distinct modes of practice—Accuracy, Speed, and Real—to fine-tune shooting prowess across varying scenarios. Emphasis shifts towards distance shooting and seamless transitions between targets, utilizing shape-based drills. The culmination of the class features the rigorous Black Belt Standards assessment, challenging students to showcase their newfound skills under pressure. A comprehensive debrief concludes the course, providing invaluable insights and personalized feedback for continued growth. A certificate and token of appreciation is then given to each student.
